Environmental Impact Assessment in the Synthesis of Antistatic Bionanocomposite Compared with the Synthesis of Polypropylene

This study aims to identify the environmental impact in synthesis of antistatic bionanocomposites compared polypropylene synthesis. It is done using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method with SimaPro 9.1.1 software. The results showed that 2% M-DAG and 2.5% CNC can reduce PP. indicated by decline value per categories, namely 4.46% ADP, 3.70% ADP-FF, 4.21% GWP, 4.48% ODP, 4.63% HTP, 5.10% FWAEP, 4.84% MAEP, 2021% TEP, 4.08% POP, 4.41% AP, 4.85% EP. After normalization category, total function unit bionancomposite smaller than PP synthesis, a percentage reduction 4.58%. efficient use energy natural resources considered necessary kg bionanocomposite pellets. higher reduced products, lower application reuse, reduce, recycle methods on co-products from bio-nanocomposite needs be because it positively impacts environment. Further research carried out synthesizing wider scope study, cradle grave, if possible.
